Ryker’s Room: Three Dishcloths by Joan Janes
Yarn: Lion Brand Re-Up Colorway: 112 Raspberry
Knitting all three patterns, I’m having a great time knitting these!  It’s fun to knit little projects like this to learn new things without committing to something giant.

What’s Hopping (Stash Enhancements/Yarn collecting)

Kelsi

Na da, yet again

Caitlyn

Yardage Counter!

Stanwood Needlecraft -counts meters, it’s the type that wraps around a wheel.  Simple, easy to use!  Just make sure the tension going in stays consistent and you are good to go!

Plymouth Yarn Cammello Merino 80% Merino 20% Baby Camel Colorway: Navy Plymouth Yarn Website For my next sweater Abraço by Filipa Carneiro.  “Abraço” means “hug” in Portuguese.  The sweater is written for fingering, but this does match the WPI even though it is sport weight.

Hangovers (Knitting Disasters)

Kelsi:

I actually have a KNITTING hangover this week – the antler pullover.  I had to reknit the sleeves, I ran out of the yarn for the body.  Then entirely missed a decrease row that required tinking back a couple rows.

And then I contacted all the “local” yarn sotres…Now I’m rethinking what to do on the whole thing.

Caitlyn:

Topic : What’s in your project bag?

Knitbakecook:

Small snips, a counter, and a ponytail holder!

Caitlyn

Small tins to keep them in – mine are the size of altoid mint containers
Stitch markets – no special number – but I alway have one purple as that is my beginning of a round color!
Tapestry needle
Seam ripper
Scissors
Cloth measuring tape
Binder Clips -to clip tails together so it doesn’t hang to long and get tangled
Cable needles – not in all my 6 project baskets/bags but in the ones where I have worked on a project that used it

In my living room project basket I also have:
stitch holders for big projects like sweaters
Trouser Pant Safety Metal Clips to hold big projects together so it’s easier to ‘spin’ back and forth

One exception is Ryker’s room – I just keep my needles and the yarn I’m currently using

Kelsi

I am not so good about keeping my notions in any project bag.  (though I always like when I actually do that)
